Browser issues
If you are unable to log into your account, are unable to access materials you have bought or if you are unable to watch a live or archived video, the problem could be caused by your web browser's settings.
Please check the following if you are experiencing any of the above issues.
Ensure that cookies are enabled
You need to have cookies enabled in order to log in and out of the policyreview.tv web site. To check if cookies are enabled:
Internet Explorer 7 and 8

Click on 'tools' in the main menu at the top of the window (press the 'alt' key on your keyboard if the menu is not visible).

In the menu that appears, click on 'Internet Options'.

Click on the 'privacy' tab in the 'Internet Options' window.

Ensure that the slider is set to the 'medium' setting or lower.
Internet Explorer 9

Same procedure as for Internet Explorer 7 and 8, however the 'Internet options' window is located by clicking on the tools ('gearwheel') icon in the top-right corner of the window.
Firefox 3.x, 4 and 5

Click on 'tools' in the top menu bar (Firefox 4: press the 'Alt' key on your keyboard first to bring up the top menu bar).

Click on 'options' in the menu.

Click on the 'privacy' icon in the 'options' window.

Ensure that the drop down menu is set to 'Remember history'.
Safari (Mac)

From the Safari menu, click 'Preferences'.

From the Security dialog box, click 'Bookmarks'.

Ensure that the 'Accept Cookies - Never' checkbox is NOT selected.
Clear your browser cache
Your browser uses a temporary storage area called a 'cache' to help speed up the loading of web pages on sites that you use frequently. Emptying your browser's cache from time to time can solve many browser related issues:
Internet Explorer 9

Click on the 'gearwheel' icon in the top-right of the screen.

In the menu that appears, click on 'Internet Options'.

On the 'general' tab, click the 'Delete' Button in the 'Browsing history' section.

Ensure that 'Temporary Internet files' is ticked.

Click the 'Delete' button at the bottom.
Internet Explorer 8
-
Once your browser is open, click the 'Tools' menu.

Click on 'Delete Browsing History'.

Select Temporary Internet Files.

Click the Delete button near the bottom of the window to delete your temporary files (i.e. clear your cache).
Internet Explorer 7

Open IE 7 and click the Tools menu. Click the Delete Browsing History link at the top.

Under the Temporary Internet Files heading, click Delete files.

Click Yes when you see the prompt asking if you are sure you want to delete all temporary files.
Firefox 3.x, 4 and 5

Click the Tools menu, then select Clear Recent History.

In the time range dropdown, select 'everything'.

Click on 'Details' and make sure Cache is checked.

Click on the 'Clear Now' button.
Safari (Mac)

From the Safari menu, click 'Empty Cache'

When asked 'Are you sure you want to empty the cache?', click 'Empty'
