Ed Miliband MP
Leader of the Labour Party.
Ed Miliband was elected Labour MP for Doncaster North in May 2005. Previously he was Chair of HM Treasury's Council of Economic Advisers, advising the Chancellor of the Exchequer, Gordon Brown, on long–term policy development. Before that, as a special adviser to the Chancellor of the Exchequer after May 1997, he worked across a range of economic and social policy areas, including taxation, public spending, and labour market issues.
In 2003, he was a Visiting Lecturer in the Department of Government at Harvard University and a Visiting Scholar at the Center for European Studies. He holds an MSc in Economics from the London School of Economics and a BA from Oxford University.
