@RobDJ: This is very interesting rob
@Mary Hellyer: Am I able to watch one of the seminars?
@Elizabeth Caush: A comment, rather than a question: Returning to the issue of asking Employers to pay, we are having to go through marketing training ourselves to be able to do this. I came into the Adult Learning Dept of an FE College 8 years ago from a business background, but realise that teachers and outreach workers do not always have these skills.
@Susie Kusnierz: Following on from the question about progression - there are many, many pre-Entry adult learners who really cannot read or write at all. These learners are so far below achieving Entry 1 in a year of part time classes that they cannot be enrolled on funded classes. Where will the funding for them come from?
@Jan Higgins: How do we fund those Learners who need to progress Fom Entry Level 1 or even pre Entry Level one and allow for them to progress through the Entry Levels and be funded so that they can eventually study a Level 1 qualification. (at present Entry Level can be funded only once so discriminates against those learners who NEED to work through the different Entry Levels)
