Functional Skills - Making the transition from policy to implementation
11 Jul 2012
Broadcast from London
From August, Functional Skills will become a compulsory part of all substantive further education courses, replacing Adult Basic Skills and Key Skills. This broadcast of the Functional Skills conference will look at how providers manage the necessary transition; upskilling teaching staff and embedding the new programmes into existing areas of the curriculum, as well as the role of technology and new flexible teaching methods. Online viewers will be able to watch live and on-demand; participate in interactive discussions and feed back to the main conference in London.
