Andy Charalambous, Head of Resettlement, HMP Send

Andy joined the Prison Service in 1998 working at HMP Brixton, Highdown, Downview, and currently HMP Send where he is the head of reducing reoffending. He enjoys most sports, travelling, cooking, and family life.

Andy was born in London and is one of seven children. Andy graduated in 1979 with a BA in Art and Design. He is married with three grown up children all boys and from a very large immediate family.

He is a firm believer in not letting your past dictate who you are, but letting it be part of who you will become.
