Annette is Schools Director at the Youth Sport Trust. She leads the YST’s work with schools to support the development of Physical Education and the use of the PE and sport in raising achievement, attainment and school standards.

Prior to this she worked with the Specialist Schools and Academies Trust providing advice, guidance and support to aspiring and designated Science Colleges and working with key national organisations in science and mathematics education.

Her teaching career was in Leicestershire where she most recently was Assistant Principal with responsibility for Assessment, Data and Raising Achievement. During this time she completed an MBA in Educational Management and worked with OCR as a team leader and presenter.
