Dr Gina Hobson is the Chief Executive of the British Accreditation Council, which for over 25 years has been responsible for setting standards within the independent further and higher education and training sectors. BAC accreditation is held by hundreds of institutions in the UK and overseas and we provide the leading mark of educational quality for the sector, which is used by students, parents, agencies and beyond as a guarantee of standards.

Gina has been focused on standard setting for the independent education and training sector since 2005 and has an in depth understanding of the sector and its diversity. More recently, she has been involved in BIS-sponsored research scoping and profiling the provision of independent HE institutions.
