Una Fisher
Before joining CWDC as a National Manager (Recruitment), on secondment for a year, Una worked for the NSPCC as Head of Child Protection Training Services. Una has also worked for Nottinghamshire, and Derbyshire local authorities as a practitioner and manager within children services, before joining the NSPCC in 1994. She had responsibility for developing and publishing training materials, particularly ‘Making an Impact - Children and Domestic Violence’ and ‘Learning to Protect’. She also managed a team of senior training and development consultants in England, Northern Ireland. Currently, Una is responsible for the ‘Step Up to Social Work’ programme, ‘Return to Social Work’ and the Graduate Recruitment Scheme.
