Henrik B. Hansen has been employed by Falck, the private Danish
corporation that has provided fire and fire and emergency services, since 1965. He rose through the organisation from office clerk to his present position as CFO. He graduated from a specialised business school and The National Emergency Agency College as an Incident Commander. During
his period in Falck he has held operational positions including station leader and district chief.

He has supported the growth of Falck fire services activities in several European countries, such as Sweden, Slovakia, Romania, Spain and Germany. He has also written several articles and papers about Danish fire services, and the contracting out of emergency services.
