Sharon has spent all of her working life in procurement, with experience in both the public and the private sector. She has worked for the Fire & Rescue Service for six years – most recently working as the Director of Procurement for Lancashire & Merseyside Fire & Rescue Authorities. In this role Sharon leads regional collaboration in procurement and supervises a Knowledge
Transfer Partnership (KTP) with Liverpool John Moores University. This two year project seeks to identify best practice, as well as generating cashable savings for the Authorities. She is CIPS qualified and has also recently
completed an MBA in business management.
