Adam Taylor
Adam Taylor, Strategic Benefit Reform Policy Advisor Department for Work and Pensions
Adam Taylor worked on the idea of a single working age benefit for the previous administration and subsequently on the 21st Century Welfare consultation document and the Universal Credit Whitepaper, which outlined the Government's intent to reform the benefits system. The Welfare Reform Bill currently before Parliament includes the primary legislation to introduce Universal Credit but much of the detail of how the new system will operate will be contained in subsequent regulations. Adam is currently engaging with partner organisations on exactly how these detailed regulations will work.
