Richard Harries
Richard Harries, Deputy Director, Department for Communities and Local Government.
Richard is a Senior Civil Servant at the Department for Communities and Local Government. After three years working on local government finance issues, including council tax and TIF, Richard is currently responsible for advising Ministers about local authority productivity and service transformation. Before he joined the DCLG, Richard worked in a number of other departments on a wide range of policy issues, including crime and policing, company law and community participation.
