Anne Wilson, Head of Careers, University of Warwick

Anne Wilson is currently acting Head of Careers at the University of Warwick. Whilst at Warwick, Anne has developed both the Warwick Advantage and Global Awards in collaboration with the Students’ Union, Warwick’s formal recognition of students’ extra-curricular activity. More recently Anne has pioneered the use of a Strengths-based approach with students at Warwick, collaborating with CAPP (Centre for Applied Positive Psychology) to develop workshops to enhance graduate employability. Anne created the Warwick Advantage website which supports the development of students’ self- awareness and employability skills.

Before moving into Higher Education, Anne has worked in a variety of senior management as well as practitioner roles within both Connexions and Careers Services. Anne is both a qualified Careers Consultant and Coach and a Strengths and MBTI practitioner.
