Hugh Purcell OBE DL is CEO Greater London Reserve Forces’ & Cadets’ Association. Born and schooled in Dublin and a graduate of Dublin University and four military academies, he served in UK and NATO appointments, ultimately working for three Government Departments with 35 countries across the globe.

Passionate about youth issues, ‘pro bono’ work includes Chairman YOU London, Clerk to The All Party Group Reserves & Cadets, Deputy Lieutenant Greater London, Ambassador ‘Soldier on’, charitable trusteeships and Member Thames Jubilee Pageant Advisory Committee and Youth Research Forum.

Married, he lives in London, combining love of sports and arts with country pursuits.
