Louise’s current role is Skills Adviser within the British Council’s Vocational Education and Training Team with a special interest in employer engagement and talent management. Louise reached the top of the ELT profession during her extensive career overseas, including USSR, China, Congo Brazzaville, and Kazakhstan. She worked with and advised government bodies on language planning, curriculum development and syllabus design, evaluation, and teacher training/education at a national level. Returning to the UK, Louise worked both as an HR and fundraising professional before taking up her current role in education.
