Cathy is a BA Hons, Diploma in Social Work, specialising in Criminal Justice Studies from Lancaster University (1996). Currently line managing and treatment managing part of the team involved delivering the Community Domestic Violence Programme an accredited Home Office programme for perpetrators of Domestic Violence who have received a community sentence from the Courts. delivers domestic violence awareness training both in-house and with the Lancashire Local Safeguarding Children’s Board with Debbie Fawcett from HARV.

Cathy has a special interest in child protection and also working to enable young people to recognise and work towards healthy relationships. Of special interest for this workshop is the recent partnership with HARV, Accrington, on a project working with young men from 13 to 17 years of age, over a weekend, looking at how attitudes and beliefs affect our behaviour. Today’s workshop will focus on our findings and give participants a chance to look at creative ways of working in a multi agency way.
