Anton is a Programme Leader at the young foundation, where his research covers such topics as justice and innovation, preventative investment in such fields as criminal justice and worklessness and developing the theory of social innovation.

Before joining the Young Foundation in November 2007 Anton worked at the International Centre for Prison Studies at King's College, London, where he led the Centre's work on Prison Healthcare and managed a number of high profile projects in Central and Eastern Europe, Central Asia and East Asia. He has been an adviser and consultant to a number of governments and organisations including the Council of Europe, the World Health Organisation and the United Nations Office for Drugs and Crime.
