Ed has worked in Local Government since 1998 having initially worked for Hereford & Worcester County Council for a few months before moving to Worcestershire County Council with the April 1998 reorganisation.

Through this time, Ed has worked on projects ranging from developing Freight Quality Partnership's to sustainable transport infrastructure. He has programme managed a Connect2 project in Worcester which created new walking and cycling links and culminated in the opening of a new £2m walk/ cycle bridge in Diglis, Worcester. Ed has also recently become more involved in the hearts and minds element of transport strategy and has helped change Worcestershire's Cycle Training Scheme to follow the Bikeability National Standard.

He is now Programme Manager for the delivery of the Local Sustainable Transport Fund Project (Choose How You Move 2) which aims to apply the learning from the Sustainable Travel Town of Worcester to that in Redditch through a mixture of hard and soft transport measures.
