Fabrizio Trifiro’ is Development Officer within the Research, Development and Partnership group at QAA. His main areas of work are international trends in higher education and quality assurance, transnational education, and international students’ issues.

Previously he lectured political theory at different higher education institutions in Europe and collaborated on a number of research projects with different human rights and development non-governmental organisations. He gained his PhD at Birkbeck College (University of London) and held a post-doctoral research fellow at the Institute for International Integration Studies of Trinity College Dublin. He also holds a MSC in Research Methods from the University of Sussex, and a MA in Human Rights from the University of Bologna.
