Dee Gasson
Dee Gasson is Principal Officer, Childcare Registration and Enforcement, working within the Development and Strategy Directorate in Ofsted. Her responsibilities include: Policy development for the regulation of childcare, with the national lead for the development of Ofsted’s registration and enforcement frameworks; Preparation of guidance and training to inspectors and others within Ofsted on the implementation of the legislation covering childcare regulation and Communications with internal and external stakeholders on new and revised policies in relation to registration and enforcement.
Prior to working with Ofsted, Dee worked for the Department for Education and Skills where she managed a team responsible for advising ministers on the regulation of childcare.
Dee holds a Diploma in criminology and social policy, a BSc in social science with social policy, and is currently studying for a Masters in Business Administration with the Open University.
