Idris Akintunde Balogun is a final year student of accounting at Olabisi Onabanjo University, Nigeria, and an experienced training volunteer with Centre for Governance, Leadership and Qualitative Studies, Nigeria.

He has built a network of capacities training on education development, Open Educational Resources and other issues impacting society through his various volunteer activities with national, regional and international civil society organisations.

He has single-handedly, and also in collaboration with Global Youth Action Society, commissioned research studies that culminated in two published academic titles to his credit and has also been involved in several campaigns for education development and open learning; human rights, good governance; peace building and conflicts transformation management.
