Christina Cravioto
Christina has worked on a voluntary and paid basis in the homeless night shelters in Stoke-on-Trent.
Due to experiences within her family she started working for Gingerbread, the only single parent hostel in the country. Gingerbread works with families in crisis alongside Social Services. She also worked at this time for Sure Start and trailblazers, setting up projects for marginalised families in poorer estates in Stoke-on-Trent. After this, Christina worked for three years with ex-offenders, addressing offending behaviour from a holistic approach.
In 2005 she moved to Somerset and came to work for Knightstone, initially as a Floating Support Worker, then running Knightstone’s supported housing schemes in Bath, and surgeries for Gypsies and Travellers on the two council-run sites in South Gloucestershire.
