John is the first of five Physical Activity and Health Co-ordinators planned for London. Jointly appointed by the Strategic Health Authority and Sport England, he works across the local area to boost physical activity and health. He covers the five Olympic host boroughs of Hackney, Greenwich, Newham, Tower Hamlets and Waltham Forest as well as the neighbouring North East London boroughs of Havering, Barking & Dagenham and Redbridge.
