John Lanagan
John Lanagan has been with the Museum of East Anglian Life (MEAL) for two and a half years and is responsible for MEAL’s training and volunteering programmes, including programmes for socially disadvantaged people. He also runs the museum’s social enterprise and leads on business planning and development of the commercial strategy of the museum. He is also a Director of CS3, a cultural consortium providing a single point of contracting for health and well being services in Cambridgeshire and Suffolk.
Before joining the third sector, John had over 20 years experience in senior management roles within blue chip organizations in the metals, energy and financial services industries, notably with E.ON and Aviva. Immediately prior to joining MEAL, he headed up business planning and strategy for RAC. His experience spans business development, leading major M & A projects and strategic partnerships; business planning and strategy; risk management and change management.
