Chris Howroyd works across the Design Council’s portfolio of Challenges to oversee strategies, methods and delivery. He is a trained product designer with over nine years experience in developing and delivering innovation projects across a variety of sectors both in the UK and internationally.

Chris holds an MPhil in Strategic Healthcare Design and has previously worked with NHS Tayside Trust to deliver a design efficiency review of NHS Operating Theatres. At the Design Council he has managed the Design Bugs Out, Design for Patient Dignity and Reducing violence and aggression in A&E programmes.
