Vicki Helyar-Cardwell is Director of the Criminal Justice Alliance. Vicki previously worked for youth justice charity Catch22, as well as for the Transition to Adulthood (T2A) Alliance.

She has authored several reports including A New Start: Young adults in the Criminal Justice System and The Young Adult Manifesto.

Vicki has an MSc in Social Policy from the London School of Economics, where she was awarded the Titmuss Prize. Her dissertation explored the relationship between young fatherhood and desistance from crime.
