Danielle Hamm
Danielle is the first Director of Compassion in Dying and has been in post since September 2012.
Danielle has a background in health policy, bioethics and public engagement and is experienced in managing high-profile public policy reviews. She has worked as a Senior Policy Manager at the Human Fertilisation and Embryology Authority, a Medical Ethics Adviser to the British Medical Association, a Parliamentary Researcher, and within the Policy and Community Services departments at Help the Aged. She is a visiting lecturer in Medical Ethics at the London Metropolitan University and is co-author of The Ethics of Caring for Older People, guidance for health professionals.
