Andrew Hayward is UCL Professor of Infectious Disease Epidemiology and Inclusion Health. He leads a group of researchers at the Department of Infectious Disease Informatics within the UCL Institute of Health Informatics. Work within the group includes research on tuberculosis, influenza, antimicrobial resistance and hospital acquired infection, the interaction between infections and chronic disease, infections and other health problems in marginalised groups such as homeless people, drug users and prisoners.
