Dr Tim Robson
Dr Tim Robson has been a GP in Watford Hertfordshire for nearly 30 years.
In 2003 after some years of campaigning for a specialist GP practice for the homeless the Meadowell practice was opened as a PMS pilot with staff salaried by the PCT.
In 2010 the staff exercised the right to request to become a social enterprise – Health Inclusion Matters Community Interest Company and signed an APMS contract with the PCT in September 2011. The practice offers enhanced access for the homeless and those vulnerably housed to primary care and substance misuse management. A hepatitis C treatment clinic is planned, and the need for more mental health support for patients is recognised.
In 1990 Dr Robson became a founder trustee for the Watford New Hope Trust a large charity providing services and accommodation for the homeless in Watford.
