Dr Heidi Gure-Klinke
After completing Masters Degree in Theology/Philosophy (1986), spending time in Somalia in 1889 and completing her Medial Training in Berlin (1997) Heidi moved to Norwich in 1999. Following a GP rotation she was offered to participate in an innovative project providing primary health care for vulnerable and homeless patients.
For several years Heidi worked as a portfolio GP, teaching Undergraduates at the UEA, providing GP sessions in a City Practice and at City Reach Health Services which became permanent service for homeless and vulnerable adults in 2003. She later took on the role as a lead GP for City Reach and became a part time GP partner at the Oak Street Medical Practice in Norwich.
Heidi has an interest in Health Equality and in understanding Health in relation to patients’ personal, social and cultural backgrounds.
