Simon Collinson is Dean of Birmingham Business School and Professor of International Business at the University of Birmingham. Previously he was at Edinburgh University, Henley (Reading) and Warwick Business School, where he held the post of Deputy Dean. He is a member of the ESRC Council, sits on the Executive Board of the Association of Business Schools (ABS) and the Council of the Birmingham Chamber of Commerce. His research focuses on innovation and China and his most recent book, ‘From Complexity to Simplicity’ was shortlisted this year for the Chartered Management Institute business book of the year prize.
