Mr. Abdulla Hassan Al Muaini is the Executive Director of Conformity Scheme Services Sector at the Abu Dhabi Quality and Conformity Council (QCC). In his current role, Al Muaini leads and directs the
Conformity Scheme Services sector with an aim to enable Abu Dhabi regulators and industry to develop and implement product, personnel and systems conformity schemes that safeguard public
health and the environment. This is a leadership role, which will help in building the services portfolio of QCC.

Prior to his current role, Al Muaini was Director of Consumer Safety services where he managed a team that control goods that pose health and safety risks to the people of Abu Dhabi. Additionally, he
created a platform for recall products to ensure their eligibility to issue safety compliance in the emirate.

Al Muaini has over 13 years of local and international experience and brings a wealth of knowledge in quality, product compliance policy, corporate strategy and telecommunication.

Beginning his career as a graduate trainee at Etisalat, he also served as the Engineer/UAELAB-Broad Band Network. In his last role at Etisalat, he was deployed to Pakistan as Senior Advisory Committee Member of the Etisalat International Investments Project.

Al Muaini holds an Executive Diploma in Strategic Management and a level Seven Executive Diploma in Management from the Chartered Management Institute, Dubai. He also has a Masters in Business
Administration from the American University of Sharjah, UAE, and a bachelors degree in Electrical Engineering from the University of North Carolina at Charlotte, US.
