Dr David Wesson
David Wesson arrived at Newcastle Business School in 1990 after working as a graphics specialist in media and advertising. With a PhD in Communication specialising in Advertising, David also writes computer software in six languages. He is currently a Senior Lecturer in Marketing Communication, mainly Advertising, Public Relations and Corporate Communication.
His research and publication interests include advertising effectiveness and, more recently, the use of computer technology in psychometric assessment. David was elected in 2012 for the honorary award of Fellow of the Academy of Marketing for distinguished and extraordinary service to the Academy
