Anni is the Faculty Academic Learning and Teaching Manager for the Faculty of Business Education and Law at Staffordshire University. She is also a Teaching Excellence Fellow. Her main subject area of interest is in change management and leadership and she has a wide experience of leadership development activities that have impacted upon managers and leaders from many organisations across various industrial sectors.

Her research interest is on storytelling within organizations and the implications for change agents. As a Teaching Excellence Fellow she is a keen observer of how student behaviour in the learning environment has changed over the past decade, with a particular interest on the changing expectations and scholarship skills of new students. Her interest in the consequences of these changes on both learning and teaching has developed into exploring the notion of ‘skilled’ learners and this forms the focus of the workshop at the ABS conference.
