Elisabeth O’Brien, is an experienced Registered Nurse and worked in Paediatric Oncology prior to training as a Health Visitor at what was then South Bank Polytechnic. She worked with challenging caseloads in Inner  London, South America and the Midlands  for twenty years before moving into Nurse education. Elisabeth is passionate about improving the lives of children and their families and  she teaches on the Child field preregistration nursing curriculum. She has a particular interest in developing the curricula so that students develop holistic assessment  skills in a simulated environment in order for them to practice safely but in an innovative way in the community.
