As a member of the UK senior leadership team Dorothy is responsible for the progress and retention, from recruitment through to membership, of over 70,000 students in the UK.

Dorothy has worked in education for over 20 years and built up a broad and varied experience which includes: teaching secondary pupils and adult students; tutoring and mentoring teachers; writing teaching texts for college audiences; advising government on teachers’ training needs; leading a faculty in a not-for-profit organisation and now she is focused on learning development within professional education.

Prior to joining ACCA in 2009, Dorothy worked in a number of different organisations including Snibston Discovery Park, The Open University, ifs School of Finance and ICAEW.

Dorothy gained her MBA (Open) in 1999.
