Abdullah Atalar is rector of Bilkent University, Turkey, having previously been the institution’s provost, and chair of its electrical and electronic engineering department. He has also served as a visiting professor at Stanford University, and is a fellow of the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers and a member of the Turkish Academy of Sciences.
