Ben Byrne
Ben's responsibilities encompass a variety of services to young people in need. These include youth justice and providing services to victims of youth crime and to communities affected by youth offending and anti-social behaviour. Ben is the senior officer with responsibility for the development of restorative justice within Surrey's Criminal Justice Partnership Board.
Ben has a Masters in Social Work and has undertaken a variety of practitioner and senior posts within criminal justice and children's services. Notable in his work has been a commitment to developing preventative and restorative services and he has been a key leader in the nationally recognised transformation of Surrey's youth justice services and development of the Youth Restorative Intervention.
