Steve retired in 2013 after 30 years with KPMG during which time he served on the Global, European and UK Boards in various capacities. Steve’s particular specialism is around large corporate mergers and acquisitions and during his career with KPMG, he has served on the Industrial Development Advisory Board, Sport England and is retained by a number of Global companies.

Steve joined the LEP as Deputy Chairman in May 2011 and has taken a particular responsibility for the LEP’s economic strategy and negotiation with Government of the £357m Growth Deal for Greater Birmingham.
