Paul Gentle is Director of Programmes at the Leadership Foundation, and is responsible for a portfolio of developmental programmes, events and networks. He is also Programme Director of the Top Management Programme, which supports senior leaders in meeting the challenges of institutional strategic management.

In 2013 and 2014, he headed Changing the Learning Landscape, a sector-wide partnership project aimed at bringing about step change in the way universities lead strategic change in technology-enabled learning and teaching.

He has led in higher education since 1990, when he joined the University of Central Lancashire. After several years as Head of languages and international studies, he moved to the University of St Mark & St John as Dean of international education and subsequently Director of regional affairs.
   
Paul believes strongly in working with universities to build capacity for evaluating the impact of leadership development activity, and this commitment informs the design of  the Top Management Programme.
