Alison Brimelow was Comptroller General and Chief Executive of the UK Patent Office (now the IPO) from 1999-2003. She was President -elect then President of the EPO from 2004-2010. She currently chairs the Programme Advisory Council of CREATe, the UK Research Councils’ centre for copyright and new business models in the creative economy.
