Dr Grant took up her current role in 2013. She has previously served as director of the Mason programme at the Kennedy School, Harvard, as director of the Fulbright programme in Mexico and as executive director of the Institute of North American Studies in Barcelona. She has also acted as a foreign affairs consultant to the US departments of state, justice and labour.
