Professor Sung has been in his current role at CUHK since November 2009. He is a renowned scientist in gastroenterology and a prolific author in the field. He was appointed Mok Hing Yiu professor of medicine in recognition of his significant contributions to the prevention and early diagnosis of gastroenterology cancers.
