Sarah Henderson is Associate Director, Improvement Programmes at The Health Foundation and has strategic overview of the delivery of improvement programmes for the organisation. This includes a significant focus on testing and scaling proven quality improvements in health, and working closely with award holders to understand and share learning from programmes.

Sarah joined The Health Foundation from Imperial College London where she was Director of Operations for the HELIX Centre, which is a collaboration between Imperial and the Royal College of Art bringing clinicians, engineers, business experts and designers together to solve healthcare challenges.

She was previously Global Health Policy Fellow with Imperial College London and a project manager at OPM, a consultancy. Prior to OPM, Sarah was an NHS Management Graduate Trainee, whose experience included managing clinical services at Great Ormond Street and St Mary’s Hospitals.
