Elinor Goodman was political editor of Channel Four News over 20 years, having previously worked for the Financial Times. Since leaving television in 2005, she has chaired the Affordable Rural Housing Commission, and become a Commissioner of the Commission for Rural Communites. She has also continued to work as a freelance journalist and broadcaster.
