Elizabeth (Liz) Hanson is a Senior Lecturer at the Linnaeus University, School of Health and Caring Sciences, Kalmar and at the R&D centre FoU Sjuhärad Välfärd, University of Borås, Sweden. She is scientific leader of the Swedish Family Care Competence Centre. Elizabeth is a Visiting Reader at the University of Sheffield. She is a nurse and currently a steering board member and research representative for Carers Sweden. Her research interests include family care support, care of older people with long-term conditions and empowerment in research and practice.
