Angela has enjoyed a career spanning 20 years in finance, both in the private and public sectors. After qualifying with KPMG she moved on from auditing to a number of financial management roles in companies in Yorkshire. Ten years ago she took on the role of Assistant Director Finance at Metro, the West Yorkshire Integrated Transport Authority. In her time there she has been able to develop and enhance the finance function, modernising and streamlining the systems and encouraging a flexible and open culture. Angela has recently taken on the role of Director of Resources at Metro where she will be continuing the agenda of improvement and efficiency across all the support sections.
