Marie is currently employed as the 11-19 Advisor, having previously been the 14-19 Partnership Manager in North Somerset. The Partnership recently was named as ‘Diploma Consortia of the Year 2010’ Previously ,Marie had worked in schools in Bedfordshire and Avon for over 20 years and was twice graded an ‘outstanding’ teacher. More recently she was part of the team at the Specialist School and Academies Trust that introduced and developed the Applied Learning Specialism with high performing schools across the country.

In her leisure time she enjoys the challenges of raising two teenage sons, membership of two book clubs, theatre, music and gardening.
