John Tizard
John Tizard, Director, The Centre for Public Service Partnerships.
John provides strategic advice to the private, public and third sectors, develops policy and commentates contemporary public services issues.
He was programme director for Worcestershire Total Place pilot.
He was a senior executive at the Capita Group plc from May 1997 to December 2007 with and previously a senior director at Scope. John has had 18 years’ experience as a county councillor (1981 – 1999) and is a former council leader.
He is a non-executive director of the Social Investment Business and Entrepreneurs in Action. He is a trustee of navca, Action Space and the Adventure Capital Fund.
He is an Honorary Senior Fellow at the University of Birmingham and a fellow of the RSA.
John is a member of Tomorrow’s People Praxis Research Advisory Board.
