Vicky Walker works for Bolton Council as the Older People’s Housing Strategy Co-ordinator, working across Housing and Adult Services and in partnership with all external providers. Her lead roles include the strategic planning for older people’s preventative services and new housing projects , reviewing, re-modelling and developing services to ensure better outcomes, providing efficiency savings and establishing value for money. Over the last six years Vicky has worked in performance improvement and service development for Adult Services departments and Supporting People teams across the North West. Prior to this Vicky worked in London for the Tavistock Institute on national and European evaluation and research projects and for the London Borough of Southwark on consultation projects, specialising in projects with hard to reach groups.
